HSBC Advising Service Payment Advice eMail Warning!
Just had 4 infected emails from HSBC, or rather, some one pretending to be from HSBC but in fact these are another Nigerian Scam and attempt to infect my computer.
The Subject for these emails is Payment Advice - Advice Ref:[GB775470] / CHAPS credits though each Reference varies on eaqch email.
The sending email address seems to be hsbci.co.uk which is registered in Nigeria and requests that you download a payment advice from their server which varies from ajewishgift.com, futbolyresultados.es, broadtech.co, and study11.com, but all the links end with:/HSBC-BANK_STORAGE/new.secure.document.html
Must admit, it was a bit of a giveaway getting four together not to mention, I'm not even a customer of HSBC and never have been!
All have been forwarded on to HSBC's phishing email.
Never click on a link in such obvious phishing emails, simply delete them, or forward to phishing {AT} hsbc.com
